Intelligence By Design Main Stage

Intelligence By Design was privileged enough to once again show case our skills and services that we provide the Chinchilla community and surrounding districts. After a successful job done for the Western Downs Council at the ANZAC service in Fullers Place Chinchilla we decided to sponsor the Entertainment stage for the Chinchilla Show Society.

The Intelligence By Design Main Stage was intended to provide alternative entertainment to the horse show jumping, exhibits, and side shows.

All of the shows were well attended by the public.

The Chinchilla Big Band opened the weekend with a 30min set of Jazz pieces.

With a practical step-by-step demonstration of his camp oven cooking recipes, and interspersed with bush poetry and songs, the audience were then treated with a taste-test of Nick's cooking.

One of Australia’s most exciting solo circus street performers, Scoot did his flaming juggling act on the world's highest uni-cycle.

The Chinchilla Christian School Choir and Band did a 30min set including the National Anthem for the opening at midday Friday.

Intelligence By Design is planning on being back to sponsor the stage again next year, so get on board if you are a local community group and wish to showcase your talent - dancing, music, singing, exercise classes, public speaking etc... Contact the Show society for more info. We would love to provide a bigger program next year.

Keep an eye out for us doing sound at more local events in the upcoming months. The next event we hope to be at is the One Long Table for the CCCI (Chinchilla Community, Commerce and Industry) Event.

Daniel has a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering focusing on Micro Processor systems. 14 years experience for TASC Systems LTD designing, servicing and installing control systems for fruit handling equipment both in New Zealand and around the world. Contracted to assist in the ISO-9001 and CE accreditation of a medical cleaning device for 12 months. Has also developed Microsoft Windows applications. He has 20+ years experience in sound engineering for Churches in both countries. He is currently doing web design and sound engineering in Chinchilla Australia.
